Why teachers still print Halloween word searches
October is loud. A printed Halloween word search is a bounded 10–20 minutes: one sheet, a pencil, a list of words that match the month. It works in a room with no devices and in a room full of them. You can drop it in a sub folder on Sunday night.
The usual free downloads come with a site URL across the footer, a watermark, or a grid that falls apart on a copier. These PDFs are built in the browser with jsPDF, so the file is just the title, the grid, and the word list.
If you need more than Halloween, the same catalog has Thanksgiving, Christmas, and 30,818 other themes. Teachers also keep a stack from the teacher page for units that are not seasonal.
