Large Print Word Search

10×10 grids so the letters actually print large — no watermark, no account

A large print word search on this site means a 10×10 grid. Fewer cells, larger letters on the page. Download a letter-size PDF. Page 2 is the answer key if you want it.

Easy lists that print large

How to get larger letters

  1. Pick 10×10. That is the large-print setting. 20×20 packs 400 letters onto the same sheet.
  2. Choose a short-word theme, or type your own list on the homepage.
  3. Download PDF. Print at 100% — do not shrink to fit.
  4. If you still want bigger type, print page 1 on tabloid or use the printer's 2 pages to 1 inverted (one grid blown up).

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a separate large-print PDF mode?

The large-print path is the 10×10 grid. Letters occupy more of the page because there are 100 cells instead of 400. There is not a second font slider.

Can I turn off diagonal words?

Yes, on the homepage generator. Uncheck diagonal and reverse.

Is the PDF free?

Yes. No account. No ads on the file.

Large print is a grid size, not a marketing line

A 20×20 grid on letter paper is 8 mm letters if you are lucky. A 10×10 on the same sheet is closer to 15 mm. That is the whole trick. We do not sell a premium large-print file.

Use short words. An 11-letter dinosaur name on a 10×10 grid either will not fit or will eat the page. Colors, fruits, and family lists are the right length.

Activity directors: the seniors page has more on cognitive exercise and session length. Teachers of beginning readers should stay on easy word search.
